Internet of Things (IOT) is also called sensing network, which is an Internet-alike structure composed of interrelated objects (Things) and whose three key factors are perception, connection and applications. In general, sensor includes such parts as RFID, various types of sensing probes and data acquisition device; and the video capturing device with intelligent video analytic function is virtually a kind of sensor, which is more perceivable and intelligent, and it can perceive the targets and behaviors within the video scenes through intelligent video analytic technology. With the development of intelligent video analysis and automatic identification technologies, video perception is becoming the leading perception technology and one of the most significant technologies of the information perception layer of IOT.
